Village of Barrington wants to remind us about our Electronics Recycling and Food Scrap Compost Programs

Electronics Recycling Program

The Electronics Program is already is very simple. Just call Groot at 800-244-1977, 24-hours in advance to schedule curbside pick-up (i.e., televisions, VCRs, Computers, etc.). All electronics are picked up and disposed of at no additional charge.

Food Scrap Composting Program

The Food Scrap Composting Program (along with yard waste disposal) allows you to simply place the acceptable food scraps into your existing 90-gallon yard waste/compost container and place the container curbside on Friday for pick-up.
